How deep should the wardrobe be?
From the back wall to the front of the wardrobe - 610mm (minimum) to 660mm (optimum).
Interior depths on sliding wardrobes are usually between 400 and 480mm.

Does the wardrobe need a back?
No - Most sliding wardrobes fitted in the UK don't have one and it would serve no practical purpose.
Is the glass safe?
Yes - All doors supplied by The Door Stop will conform to BS 6206 "Glass B" either through the application of a polypropylene
safety film, by toughening or by lamination.
Will the doors stay on the track?
All sliding doors supplied by The Door Stop will be fitted with an anti-jump device. But doors, none the less, should
be kept clear of obstruction.
Will the doors be easy to slide?
Yes - If fitted correctly the doors will slide with one finger.
Are sliding wardrobes easy to fit?
Yes - With a few tools, a little enthusiasm and plenty of time most people can achieve a good result.
Will i still get a guarantee even though i've fitted the wardrobe myself?
Yes - The colouring/silver on glass is guaranteed for 5 years and the moving parts of the doors (wheels and guides) are also guaranteed for 5 years.
HOME DELIVERY Courteous, on-date deliveries are fundamental to the success of The Door Stop and for this reason we have chosen our transport partners very carefully.
Delivery will usually be carried out between 3 and 4 weeks from receipt of order/payment. Remote and isolated areas may take a little longer, and is at the discretion of the transport company.
The transport company will contact you approximately 2 weeks after order/payment to arrange a convenient date for delivery and find out the following information:
1: Full address for delivery (inc postcode)
2: Delivery date
3: AM or PM time slot*
4:Any other special delivery circumstances
Deliveries can be made between 8:00am & 6:00pm Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays)
Deliveries will be made to ground floor level only.
Customers are expected to inspect the items upon delivery and will be given sufficient time to do so before completing the transport company's delivery documentation.
DELIVERY COST
The cost of delivery will depend on the size, weight and fragility of the item(s). The charge will be between £5.00 and £49.00, unless the order value is over £500.00 when it will qualify for free delivery. Please note that the relevant delivery charge will appear along with the cost of doors etc, in the checkout area of the website.
DAMAGED GOODS
On delivery the transport company will allow time for you to check for damage and to ensure that all items have been delivered. It is important that any damage or shortage is noted on the transport companies documentation.
FAILED DELIVERY
Where a delivery fails because no one is at home, the transport company will make one further attempt to deliver (without further charge). If a second delivery attempt fails then the goods will be returned and stored at the transport company's premises for five days. During this time a further delivery can be arranged but will incur a full delivery charge. After 5 days the goods will be returned to The Door Stop.
A card will be posted through the box when a delivery fails, giving contact instructions etc, so that another delivery can be arranged.
RETURNS
Any item that is not (made to measure) can be returned in received condition within 7 days of receipt for a full refund (excluding delivery/collection costs). Please note that collections and exchanges can only be arranged with The Door Stop and not directly with the transport company.
