HOW TO WORK OUT THE DOOR
SIZE FOR DOORS FITTED ON THE SURFACE OF THE FRAME
To work out the door width
for the example the formula would be: (overall
carcase width less 8mm divided by 2).
*Doors can be made to any height but are often made
to fit the overall carcase height.

HINGES
The cup of the hinge type
used on our doors needs no special drilling and can
be positioned anywhere on the door frame and simply
locked in to position by two screws |

BACKS IN DOORS/DRAWERS
A back can be fitted when
drawer fronts are needed. The back is 8mm thick silver
finish chipboard, and drawer boxes etc can be screwed
directly to it.
NOTE:maximum depth of back to the glass behind is
10mm. |

HINGE BASE POSITION
The hinge base should be positioned
37mm in from the front of the carcase.
As a rule the hinge base should be position approx-
imately 100mm from the top and 100mm from the bottom
of the cabinet, but not less than 85mm.
Base plates are supplied fitted with euro screws
which require a 5mm dia drill hole. |

HINGE POSITION
The hinge can be dropped into
the back of the profile and locked down at any position.

SNAP IN COVER STRIP
A cover strip is supplied
which needs to be cut so that it finishes neatly up
to the hinges. The strip is pre-mitred so a simple straight
cut is all that is needed, and this can be made with
scissors or a fine tooth saw. |
